I am excited to be united with Tommie T-Top Rivers to bring the good news of how our children are beginning to make better decisions on how they will live their futures. Tommie is a sports coach and works closely with young growing boys, inspiring them to reach for the stars.

Tommie, I am inspired by your positive outlook and get giddy when I think of the wonderful opportunity we have to bring to the airwaves the many other men and women working in the trenches to save our youth. We get the opportunity to sing their praises and direct endangered youth to these wonderful role models; so on with the show!

Tommie, today’s show was amazing! It further impassioned me to go after the voices of the workers in the field. The average person points an accusing finger at all people who have been sentenced to life in our nation’s prisons. I understand this, but there is another group within that group and those people have repented completely of their wrongful acts and are fully accountable for their deeds and want to give back to their communities to bring about healing. Our nation needs that healing.

Today Aleem Tolliver, our guest is such a good example of how there are so many awesome people wanting to give back. This man wants to be a beacon for young people headed in the direction of the hell from which he was just delivered. Kudos to you for helping to make this a phenomenal show.

Great show guys…it was a special treat to hear Henry on their as well..thank you for bringing more former lifers on the airwaves…people need to hear their voices and realize that the images that are portrayed of people in prison are inaccurate and unfair and we need to continue to bring this awareness to the public…I pray that more relationships can develop between people inside and people out here so we can break down the awful stereotypes that still exist!

Great show guys!! I really enjoyed the vast discussion about how to reverse the cycle of recidism and the current sentencing laws are not the way to do this. We really need to empower our youth not to incarcerate them with life without.

How I agree with you that today’s show was extraordinary! It was such a reminder for us that we all can play a vital part in the movement to change the horrors that’s happening to our youth, we first have to join together as adults who are the protectors of our communities. What a remarkable hour.

Last night’s show was incredibly inspiration and it really embodied the principle that many people can join to become one force. I also appreciated and support both of the legislative pieces- HR1 and Ban the Box. We need to stop policies and practices that keep the marginalized below water.

Yes Maria, I so agree. Just to understand that if we could but awaken the interest of the millions of complacent people who think their participation in this fight is not necessary, we would bring about peace and justice in our nation. We have to just keep this fight up. The fight to spread the world, to call the names of the millions of people we need to hear their call to band together to stop the madness of injustice in our penal system.

Julia, I tell you this show was almost breath taking.I loved the hearts and the spirits of each person on the show. These are the people that should link up with all of us and all of the rest of the community of workers in the field of restorative justice. Let us pray that the circle of workers will connect all over the country and then all over the world. With this connection, this will stop the violence and get rid of inequality…
